No services will be held.Meg was born Jan. 13, 1950, in Paxton, Ill., to Harold and Viola (Carlson) Swenson. Meg grew up on a farm and went to school in Cissna Park, Ill. She moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in 1962 and graduated from Johnston High School in 1968. She then attended Drake University.Meg was married to Dodson Benedec for 26 years. He preceded her in death.Meg moved to Oregon 15 years ago and resided in Gresham for the last three years. She loved animals, owning dogs, cats
