Dale Haistings

Dale Haistings, 89, of Hull, Ill., passed away Friday evening, Sept. 2, 2011, at his residence in Hull.Dale was born Aug. 21, 1922, in Bowen, Ill., to Fred and Altha Burnett Haistings. He married Mary June Little on May 10, 1945, at Summer Hill, Ill., and she survives.Dale was a Class A certified electrician and started his long career by helping to build and organize WBBA radio. When the station was up and running, he worked there as the agriculture and farm report broadcaster for several years.
