Model Ships Donated To St. Augustine Lighthouse And Museum

A collection of model ships built by the late yacht builder James McNally will be donated Wednesday to the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum at 81 Lighthouse Ave.Doug Anderson will donate the models to lighthouse board members, joined by McNally's widow, Katharine Merk McNally, the eight-model collection including historic vessels like the Vasa, a Swedish warship sunk in the Stockholm harbor and raised intact by archaeologists; The Cutty Sark and Puritan, both known for their record breaking speed; and the whaling ship Katy Cory. The ships will be displayed throughout the museum.
