Rane Group Acquires 26% In SasMos HET Technologies

Rane Group has forayed into the defence sector by acquiring 26% stake in Bangalore based SasMos HET Technologies. SasMos Het was incorporated in 2007 by HG Chandrashekhar. It manufactures interconnection systems(cable harnesses) for application in the Defence and aerospace industries. Netherland based Citadel Industries hold 26% stake in the company. It customers include Ministry of Defence, Israel aerospace Industries and Rafael Advance Defense Systems among others.Unifi Capital Pvt Ltd advised Rane group on the transaction.Rane group is engaged in manufacturing auto components through it's various group entities.
