Disney, Mattel Open Unique Film Exhibit

Mattel and Disney are collaborating to bring a unique film prop exhibit to Los Angeles. On Friday (November 11, 2011) the entertainment giants opened the 'From Silver Screen to Diecast: Disney-Pixar Cars Imagined By Mattel' show at the Petersen Auto Museum in L.A. The collection will be housed in the 'Hollywood Gallery' for the next six months for the public to view.According to Reuters, the exhibit showcases the history of the 'Cars' die-cast collection created by Mattel and brought to life in the popular Disney-Pixar films.It includes movie scene dioramas, hundreds of the die-cast toy car props used in the movies, and rare and never-before-released d
