$30K Worth Of Lawn Equipment Stolen From City

MOULTRIE - The City of Moultrie was the victim of theft in which $30,000 worth of lawn equipment was stolen, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office reports said.Stolen property reported Monday to law enforcement agencies in the county totaled more than $39,200.The city reported that two lawn mowers and a trailer were taken from its maintenance facility at 425 Industrial Blvd. Stolen were two John Deere riding lawn mowers and a 16-foot trailer.In other thefts• Jimmy Parker, 2500 block Sylvester Highway, reported Monday the theft of $1,000.Parker told the officer that he went outside Recycle King for a short time and when he returned the money was missing.�
