Model Van Sale To Help Great North Air Ambulance

By Meg Jorsh Model car enthusiasts are selling off a fleet of limited edition vans to raise money for a life-saving charity.The tiny Great North Air Ambulance delivery vans will be launched at a toy fair in Carlisle on October 17. Each five-inch long model is marked with the slogan "Cumbrian Hero 642," in a tribute to Workington PC Bill Barker.PC Barker was killed in the floods in November. He was a supporter of the air ambulance.
